Thank you so much for another wonderful day on Monday last. I cannot believe that a week has flown past already, and I have not written to say how much I enjoyed myself.
I am fascinated at the way you remember all the day. Do you have a tape recorder running?!!! I am so grateful, as I would never remember it all. Perhaps I should start bringing a note book. I do feel very ignorant, and that is another reason for my delay in booking for the Scottish Tour. However, if the place is still available, I should like to take it. Please let me know what deposit is required, and when..I should be happy to pay the single supplement.

I did manage to recall 58 of the bird species the next morning so it was nice to see the ones that I had missed! Have just returned from the Scottish tour with Carl and was able to see the Divers, Ptarmigan, Golden Eagles, Capercaille etc. a real who's who of the birding world, It was a fantastic trip exceeding our expectations purely down to the expert knowledge and tour leadership of Carl. We can honestly say that we have had a most memorable time and adventure visiting locations that take your breath away even before you have time to see the birdlife and other wildlife. To anyone out there reading this comment I have one word of advice only.......BOOK. M&GH – Northants

Stone Curlew was a corker of a sighting as were the hobbies and even cuckoo. As ever we came away with much more confidence in our spotting and were seeing sedge and reed warbler all over the place with ease for the rest of the week. Your ID tips are worth their weight in gold. RH – London

I have been raving about our day with you to anyone who stands still long enough to listen! We both really enjoyed it ... This morning I got out our own rather feeble spotting scope and gazed across the river over my porridge. I've found out our three closest nature reserves and am planning visits. ... highlight was seal watching ... had a wonderful time and I'm not sure if you realised that you were the "Pied Piper" at Hickling Broad; he was hanging on your every word and footstep. Declared to be one of his best days – ever ... was immensely impressed by the kestrel and her kill - he said what a pleasure it was to be able to enjoy being a passenger and with such a knowledgeable guide. For me, the cranes, herons and darters were all magical. We'd love to join you again - perhaps in Spring or early Summer. HM – Suffolk

I'm still all aglow, so to speak, with the joy of my Safari Tour last Wednesday. It was a truly wonderful day, and one that I should love to repeat - many times! Thank you so much for all the trouble you took, with your non-stop education, with hunting for new sights for me to enjoy, and for the comfort stops, superb picnic, and perfectly-timed hot chocolate! I had worried that wildlife in Norfolk would be kinda limited - I was clearly very wrong! ...She (and I) partucularly enjoyed the Moths to the extent that we are genuinely looking to buy a moth trap for the garden (if you can recommend one I'd be very grateful!) - they just tipped the seals and the cranes as our favourites!... well beyond any expectations we had! ...I wanted to record our thanks to you for a very, very enjoyable day on Sunday. Neither of us could believe how quickly the time sped by and I think that was an excellent indicator of just how much fun we were having. You geared the day perfectly for us ... is the keen photographer and I was along primarily for the ride but it was great fun using your camera (thank you!) and I have to say I think the shots of mine that you selected are pretty good. We were thrilled to see the water vole and grey seals and although we are not particularly knowledgeable about birds it was great to have you pointing them out to us all day... I must say the care you take of your clients and the attention to detail with the packed lunch, drinks ... etc is excellent and I have already recommended you to everyone we've spoken to since Sunday! (We) will definitely be in touch again. We are both interested in the Red Kite weekend next June and I think you will also be getting a special request for an Otter day/Seal pup day. How lucky we were to book with you for our Scottish Speyside birding trip. You certainly surpassed by miles our expectations. The amount of birding we got in was fabulous. You certainly went the extra mile for us. Accomodation was great and the pace of birding was relaxing enough to appreciate other wild life such as the ermine we saw and several species of deer etc. Your knowledge of birds and wildlife certainly filled in my knowledge gaps. Many thanks for such a great four days in Scotland. I can honeastly say I enjoyed every minute of it, from... the nest building Crested Tits to the fabulous Golden Eagle ... it wasn't just these sightings as there were many, many more highlights too numerous to mention, we all had our favourite "magic moment".
Mammels did us proud, four type of deer, the Ermine Stoat, Mountain Hares and of course the Red Squirrels. I could go on.The accommodation could not be bettered, comfortable,excellent food and perfectly situated.
