Wildlife Tours and Education Green Policy

At Wildlife Tours and Education, we are very conscious about the finite resources of our planet. We strive to minimise the impact of our tours and general business. Here are some of the ways we do this :-

By necessity on our birders trips and Norfolk Safari’s we use a large vehicle for conveying our clients. We feel this is better than our clients travelling in several of their own vehicles thereby reducing the total emissions.

All our drivers are trained to Advanced Standard. As well as increasing your safety our drivers are extremely capable at controlling emissions through reduced braking and steadier acceleration.

We do not issue bulky brochures but rely mainly upon our website and e-mails to convey information to our clients regarding our tours and courses.

We have a recycling system for materials used in our day to day business.

Whenever possible we actively seek out business partners that have a green policy.

On our foreign tours, we inevitably use the facility of an aircraft. For every air passenger that books a holiday through Wildlife Tours and Education we personally plant a tree. This offsetting is at no charge to yourself so you can rest assured that you are travelling with minimum impact upon the environment.
