Carl Chapman started Wildlife Tours & Education at the beginning of 2008; initially with just tours around Norfolk. As customers returned they asked if they could be taken around other parts of the UK. Now he usually does a longer tour almost each month of the year.
Carl is a qualified ornithologist, has a diploma in photography and is the county cetacean and pinniped recorder as well as being heavily involved with several environmental charities.
Carl is also a trained ecologist specialising in several protected species. He was an associate tutor with The Field Studies Council (FSC) and has taught on a variety of wildlife subjects at both the FSC and the Norfolk Wildlife Trust.
He is also a qualified first aider.
Carl has been watching wildlife for more years than he cares to remember and until his retirement brought on by illness and brain sugery in December 2025 enjoyed every minute.
Carl is sometimes assisted by his wife Tania. An Australian by birth but now a naturalised Brit .She has a good understanding of British wildlife and is involved in the charity work performed by 'Cromer Green Spaces'.
